Paula grew up with aspirations of being an actor and studied Theatre, TV and Film at Brunel University. Theatre has remained an important part of Paula’s life and she has enjoyed performing with multiple theatre groups, leading drama workshops for adults and children, and directing productions. When Covid lockdowns heavily reduced theatre activities, Paula turned to writing as a way of using her theatre knowledge and imagination to useful purpose, and to network with fellow creatives. After a few short plays were published online, Paula wrote her first full-length comedy play, Number 13, The Luckiest Guest House, for Aldermaston Players to perform in 2022.
